After an amazing routine in the auditions, that had the whole audience on their feet, the Britain's Got Talent judging panel, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were so impressed by the local dance stars that they put Nemisis through to the live semi-final stage, to be aired this week. Two acts from each of the semi finals go on to compete in the live final, with viewers votes deciding who will be the eventual winner.

This very distressing information alert from Advocacy & Community Organizing Centre for Community Development In Zimbabwe (CCDZ), via SW Radio Africa: We can’t believe that the youthful, soft-spoken,humble, truthful, dreadlocked Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) activist, Tonderai Ndira is no more. Today we give this eulogy for a courageous men who stood against evil. Tonderai Ndira was abducted last week at his Mabvuku home by members of the Central Intelligence Organization (CIO).

The Zimbabwean financial market is not for the fainthearted, it has often been said if you can do business in Zimbabwe, you can do business anywhere in the world. Frequent policy shifts render business forecasting useless. Recently, the central bank chief liberalized the foreign currency market and left analysts wandering if this was for real, and if it was, what the catch was? In the same week, ZEC announced that the Presidential run-off might be delayed by almost a year due to logistical problems. The long drawn political drama has resulted in further paralysis to a market already in a comatose state.

ZIMBABWE'S central bank, currently grappling with record-breaking inflation, has introduced a new high-denomination bank note of a quarter of a billion dollars, state television reported Monday. "The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe's governor Gideon Gono has unveiled a new 100 million and 250 million dollar... note and this will be in circulation starting tomorrow (Tuesday)," reported state television.

Zimbabwe's main opposition party said on Saturday that it had retained a historic victory over President Robert Mugabe's ruling party and accused the authorities of stepping up a campaign of violence. The Movement for Democratic Change said a recount in 23 of the country's 210 constituencies had confirmed its victory in the March 29 elections. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) was not able to confirm the claim.
